A Frame Crane - No Rust

Aluminum is a nonferrous material, meaning there is no iron in it. Therefore, it does not rust! If requested, we can even provide stainless steel casters and hardware to further the corrosion resistance of your gantry crane. Perfect for marine use and near water areas.

All of EC&MW’s fixed-leg A-frame gantry cranes are able to roll while loaded.

We design, engineer, and manufacture all of our products at our facility in Elko, Nevada. Our fixed A-frame gantry crane is built entirely from 6061 T6 Structural Aluminum, making it lightweight and portable. Ideal for companies looking for lifting heavy equipment without adding to the overall weight at the job.

With EC&MW’s exclusive kickstand assembly (available for some models), the gantry can be easily assembled by minimum personnel.

Built Tough For Heavy Lifting

In 2000, EC&MW introduced our 6,000 lb. capacity aluminum gantry crane — another industry first, as far as we know. As demand for heavier lifting capabilities grew, we raised the bar again in 2005 with the introduction of our 8,000 lb. capacity model. Since then, others in the industry have followed our lead.

Both A-Fame models are manufactured using high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum, delivering the ideal balance of durability, portability, and corrosion resistance. Our 8,000 lb. model pushes the structural limits of aluminum I-beam construction, which is why we utilize the largest aluminum I-beam currently available. This engineering standard defines the maximum overall span while maintaining the strength and safety of our customers.

Designed for companies and individuals with larger lifting requirements, both the 6,000 lb. and 8,000 lb. cranes come standard with dual cable lifting winches for easy height adjustment, fully adjustable leg widths for added versatility, and four-position locking polyurethane casters for smooth mobility and secure positioning on the job site.
