1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 lb. cap. A-Frame Door Way Aluminum Gantries
EC&MW builds standard design aluminum gantries, as well as custom models. This particular gantry crane falls somewhere in the middle. We manufacture our unique design portable gantry crane with removable legs, as well as a fixed leg A Frame aluminum gantry. This gantry crane is a combination of both models, but is built to the customer’s specific requirements. Our portable gantry crane comes in a 1, 2 and 3,000 lb capacity. The 2,000 lb cap model has the ability to fit thought a standard 3-0 door. Our 10’ long 6” I Beam has a top of beam height of only 78”. The best part is, it is also capable of 9’ maximum height under the beam. This model was originally designed for riggers and electronic firms to move extremely heavy test equipment from one room to another.
USES: Rigging companies that regularly move heavy equipment within electronic firms or other confined areas. Why: This aluminum gantry crane can go through a standard doorway, but still reach the max ceiling heights in most electronic testing areas. It is also undeniably portable, being made from aluminum. It is lightweight and breaks down into comparatively small parts for extremely easy transportation.
These gantries were designed to be rolled through standard door ways while loaded. The base legs in the fully retracted position have over all width and lengths from 32″ to 35 1/2″ depending upon model. Minimum over all height to top of beam can be as little as 60″, again depending upon models and capacity. So as not to exceed the height to width ratio required for gantry manufacturing, there is recessed labeling indicating on all the expendable legs that indicate the maximum allowed height for that particular leg setting (shown in the picture to the right). This design will allow you to move your projects from one test cell to another or from one environmental lab/clean room to another.

NOTE: Twelve foot models in orange have a 80″ TOB Height and could possibly not fit through a standard door height. Fifteen foot models will NOT fit through a standard door height.
