Our 2P88 has an optional unique cart assembly. This includes the steering handle, cross bars, bungee cords, and clip pins. This feature eliminates the need for several trips from the parking area to your work area. Assembly is quick and easy. The cart assembly also makes our gantry easy to store, by keeping all the components together. Notice how extension tubes fit neatly inside the bases. When using the gantry, the steering handle and all of the components fit in the bases, eliminating interference in your working area.

EC&MW, Inc. first introduced the concept of performing height adjustments from both the base and the I-beam in the mid-1990s. While this idea hasn’t gained widespread attention, it fills a unique niche.

Expanded Height Adjustment
Unlike standard gantry cranes with limited adjustment options, our smaller model features more than five height adjustment holes, offering up to 29 inches of height variation, providing enhanced flexibility for various working environments.
Low Base Height for Portability
With a base height of just 34 inches, this crane is highly portable and ideal for spaces with limited vertical clearance.
Optimized Clearance for Indoor Use
The crane offers 63 inches of clearance under the beam at its lowest setting, extending up to 92 inches at its maximum height. When paired with a 4-inch I-beam, the total beam height reaches 96 inches—perfect for standard ceiling heights.
Hole spacing is strategically designed:
- Base: 5 1/8 inches
- I-beam: 4 ¾ inches
This setup minimizes interference with ceiling obstructions such as sprinklers, halon systems, and detectors, and even allows deployment on uneven floor levels.
Single-Person Assembly for Smaller Units
Smaller beam-length models can be assembled by one person, a task typically challenging with traditional A-frame gantry cranes. This makes our design a practical and efficient solution, especially in confined or solo-operator settings.
